Tom Lehmann and Thomas Cheng
Tom Lehmann and Thomas Cheng met in the distant land of Chuxiong, Yunnan during the Summer Institute of the 2014-2016 Teach for China cohort. Both Tom and Thomas served as teaching fellows for two years, Tom with a middle school in the little mountainous village of Gengga, Yunnan, and Thomas in an elementary school just outside of Shantou, Guangdong. Having completed their fellowship, Thomas continues to work in education growing VIPKid’s business abroad, and Tom managing business partnerships for the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global Policy. Both remain absolutely committed to benefitting the students they taught and the communities they connected with in their time with Teach for China, areas that Education in Sight directly works in. There is no way they’d miss this.
