Mother’s Choice is a local charity serving the many children without families and pregnant teenagers in Hong Kong. Mother’s Choice joins hands with our community to give hope and change the life stories of vulnerable girls and babies. Their vision is to see every child in a loving family.
“We are so honored to be chosen as this year’s beneficiary for Chi Fan for Charity Hong Kong 2016! At Mother’s Choice, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving and permanent family to call their own, and this grant will provide much needed funds for us to continue to run our Adoption Services. Thank you to CFFC HK for your incredible support towards this important work of building stronger families for children in Hong Kong! Together, we’ll be able to move closer to the day when we will see every child in Hong Kong in a loving family.”

Our Past Beneficiaries
2015 Beneficiary Charity: Little Life Warriors Society
Little Life Warrior Society (LLWS) is a non-profit organisation with a simple and heartwarming mission: to improve the lives of children battling cancer by providing mutual support and a network of resources, increasing benefits and quality of life for young patients wherever possible.
Established in 2002 by children cancer patients, survivors, parents and medical staff of Lady Pao Children’s Cancer Centre at Prince of Wales Hospital, LLWS serves over 1,500 members and provides invaluable care for patients and loved ones.
Everyone has goals, but few are as simple and significant as those of the brave youngsters at LLWS: to win the fight against cancer with as much love, courage and assistance as possible. Chi Fan for Charity Hong Kong Event 2015 as a result, has successfully raised over HK$250,000 in total, supporting LLWS on the development of theirs programmes which would change the lives of the young children and bring hope to those affected by a terrible illness.
2014 Beneficiary Charity: Enlighten – Action for Epilepsy
There are almost 70,000 people (almost 1 in a 100) affected by epilepsy in Hong Kong with most of them choosing to remain silent due to the stigma associated with this neurological condition.
Through the Chi Fan for Charity Hong Kong Event 2014, we have raised a whopping HK$340,000 to support Enlighten – Action for Epilepsy, who is committed to generating epilepsy awareness in the community, and also providing services and resources to benefit those who are directly and indirectly affected by epilepsy in Hong Kong.
2013 Beneficiary Charity: Child Welfare Scheme
Child Welfare Scheme (CWS), a Hong Kong registered charity which was set up in 2003, initially to raise funds to support and help disadvantaged children and families in the Nepalese community. CWS projects in Nepal are monitored by a dedicated team who work with local, grassroots NGOs to provide education, health care and social opportunities to children and their communities.
Chi Fan For Charity Hong Kong’s Inaugural Event in 2013 raised an awe-inspiring HK$290,000 to support CWS projects in Nepal. While based on the fact that 40-60% of the Food & Beverage industry in Hong Kong is comprised of a significant proportion of Nepalese employees, this gave restaurants a vested interest in donating a table each along with special menus, exclusively for a decadent evening of philanthropic goodness.
